XPETG CF
Extrudr XPETG CF is designed for a wide range of applications,
where the main requirement is a good balance between mechanical
and optical material properties. The raw material is according to the REACH
and RoHS standards certified.
PETG is flame retardant according to UL 94 with a wall thickness of 3.2 mm.
- Excellent mechanical properties
- High chemical resistance
- Low warping
- Low shrinkage
Product Information:
Maximum load
XPETG CF has a very high mechanical resilience and is stiffer than normal PETG.
elongation at break
XPETG is characterized by good elongation at break.
heat resistance
A heat resistance of 85°C allows use in many areas
from the manufacture of electronic components to kitchen utensils.
difficulty level
XPETG CF is suitable for beginners because the carbon fiber has the material and the
Plastic melt stabilized during bridging, resulting in less warping.
Carbon is very abrasive, so we recommend a hardened 0.5mm diameter nozzle.
visual quality
Small carbon fibers protrude at right angles to the printed surface,
which generates a very nice matt surface and hides layer errors.
The print object therefore looks very high quality.
layer liability
Despite the high carbon content, XPETG CF has good layer adhesion.
As a first step, we recommend printing a "Heattower" and thus the ideal ones
settings for the respective device. In our experience lies the ideal
Printing temperature between 210-230°C.
impact resistance
The material has very good impact resistance.
Speed: 40-60mm/s
