Anisoprint CBF - Composite Basalt Fiber
- Continuous Fiber in Kombination mit PLA, ABS, PETG
Anisoprint CCF (Composite Carbon Fiber) and CBF (Composite Basalt Fiber) are composite
Reinforcement fibers in the form of a strand of thousands of ultra-thin carbon
or basalt monofilaments impregnated with a special polymer composition,
to ensure high quality adhesion between the polymers and fibers.
Composite fibers are used to reinforce the plastic during the manufacture of the part.
The additive manufacturing of composite parts reinforced with continuous fibers is based on the
Dual matrix composite coextrusion technology (Composite Fiber Co-Extrusion, CFC)
and enables the production of strong, light and complex shaped parts
customized material properties.
CBF
15 times stiffer and stronger than regular plastic
Strength-to-weight ratio more than 2 times higher than for 2024-T351 aluminum
5 times lighter than steel and strong as stainless steel
A 750m spool is sufficient to spool a fully assembled cube of
55x55x55 mm or a fully assembled panel of A4 format with a thickness
of 2.5 mm to produce. The volume ratio of carbon or basalt fibers in the
Final product is about 25%.
Anisoprint technology offers a wide range of aerospace applications,
in automotive, healthcare, manufacturing, sports and transportation
- in all areas where strength and light weight are required.
