Product Description:
The PEI Build Plate (for Raise3D E2 and E2CF only) is made of high-strength spring steel with a double-sided PEI powder coating. It offers high temperature resistance, excellent flame retardancy, great strength, and rigidity.
Benefits:
- Double-sided PEI coating – both sides can be used for printing, ensuring long service life.
- High flatness and a flexible structure allow easy model removal – simply bend the plate gently.
- Heat-resistant, flame-retardant, robust, and dimensionally stable.
- Compatible with a wide range of filaments.
- Strong first-layer adhesion (for some materials, additional glue may be required).

Notes:
- After applying the PEI Build Plate, the nozzle height must be recalibrated. Please follow the specific instructions for your model: E2 | E2CF.
- The current slicing profiles for the E2 and E2CF are compatible with the PEI Build Plate.
- Dust, grease, and print residue may reduce adhesion. Clean the surface regularly with mild detergent (e.g., alcohol and water). Avoid harsh cleaners or acetone as they can damage the PEI surface.
- If adhesion is reduced, carefully sand the textured PEI surface with fine sandpaper (recommended: 600 grit).
- The PEI coating may leave a texture on the bottom of printed parts. For a smooth finish, a raft is recommended – note the increased material use and potential risk of model damage during raft removal (especially for thin walls).
- Avoid using a spatula to remove printed parts – this could scratch or damage the PEI surface or cause the coating to peel off.
Safety Warnings:
- The edges of the build plate may be sharp – handle carefully to avoid injury.
- Do not touch the plate with bare hands during printing.
- After printing, the plate is extremely hot – wait until it has cooled to room temperature before removing it.
