The SHINING 3D EinScan H2 is a handheld 3D scanner with a hybrid light source.
The hybrid light technology with structured, white LED light and invisible infrared light makes the EinScan H2 the perfect
3D scanners for a variety of applications. Strip light technology projects rapidly changing light patterns onto an object
and calculates the surface topology from the light/dark shifts. SHINING 3D has modified this scanning technique so
that it can also be used in handheld mode. Limitations of this technique include dark surfaces,
which no longer show the stripe pattern well. This is where the strength of the infrared measurement method comes into play.
A mode originally developed specifically for scanning faces works with invisible infrared light and
enables a safe and comfortable scanning process. Dark objects and hair can be removed with this technique without complications
are excellently recorded. Infrared scanning mode is also more advantageous for face scanning than structured light technology,
whose bright and rapidly flickering pattern dazzles uncomfortably.
Both the LED light source and the infrared light are eye safe (Checkout 1).
The EinScan H2 captures the entire geometry of small to large objects with fine detail and achieves
an impressively high resolution of up to 0.2 mm.
Improve the high accuracy of up to 0.05 mm as well as the volumetric accuracy of 0.05 ± 0.1 mm/m in LED mode
the precision of 3D data collection in a dense point cloud or in mesh data.
The scanning speed of up to 1.2 million points/sec. and the max. field of view of 420 x 440 mm (LED) or 780 x 900 mm (IR)
ensure fast scanning, even of large objects.
The optimized alignment algorithm enables efficient alignment despite small movements of the scanned object or
of the scanned person. Thanks to the integrated 5 megapixel color camera and the large scan field, the EinScan H2 delivers high-quality,
authentic and photorealistic textures and 3D color data. In addition, the detection and tracking is supported due to the color texture.
