Zortrax Inkspire is up to 8x faster and up to 9x more precise
than leading SLA 3D printers-
Resin 3D printing made better
The technology behind Zortrax Inkspire relies on a high resolution LCD screen with UV LED backlighting
to cure photopolymers layer by layer
Microscopic precision
The smallest object Zortrax Inkspire can 3D print is a cuboid measuring 50x50x25 microns
Consistent speed
Same high speed of 20-36 mm/h is maintained regardless of how much of the workspace is filled
External resins
All available resins that can be cured by light with 405 nm wavelength are supported
On-the-fly Settings
Print settings like time of layer's exposure or rest between layers can be changed on the fly
Meet UV LCD technology
Stereolithography (SLA) and Digital Light Processing (DLP) are two traditional resin 3D printing technologies.
In SLA, the precision is constant, but the speed of operation is in inverse proportion to the amount of workspace
taken by the model. In DLP, the speed of operation is constant, but the precision falls as the amount of used
workspace increases. Zortrax UV LCD offers constant high speed and precision regardless of how much of
the workspace is in use.
Serial production
Zortrax Inkspire maintains constant high speed of operation and accuracy regardless of how much of the
workspace is used. With one printer making 50 to 80 parts in 1h 30min, 30 printers working together can
offer an approximate monthly output of 360,000 to 500,000 parts. That's why Zortrax Inkspire can work as
a basic production unit in easily scalable 3D printing farms capable of short-series manufacturing.
Compatible resins
Zortrax Inkspire works with a dedicated Zortrax Resin Basic. External resins are fully supported, provided
they can be cured by light with 405 nm wavelength.
Zortrax Resin Basic
Zortrax Resin Basic is a photopolymer designed specifically for Zortrax Inkspire. It guarantees impeccable
accuracy of details and great mechanical properties at the same time. It is available in white.
External Resins
External resins compatible with Zortrax Inkspire include special purpose photopolymers designed
for applications in dental prosthetics or jewelry design i.a.
Applications
Resin 3D printing is a technology perfect for professionals working in fields where very small yet incredibly
detailed models are needed. The precision and speed of Zortrax Inkspire makes it a game changing tool for
dentists, jewelers, and watch designers among others.
Flexible manufacturing
Zortrax Inkspire 3D printers offer scalable, flexible manufacturing capabilities for businesses needing small,
precise components. It is a perfect tool for engineers working at research and development departments and
on production lines in various industries from automotive through aerospace to consumer electronics.
Art and entertainment
Small yet beautifully designed models made on resin 3D printers are useful for artists and the entertainment
industry. Detailed figurines can be made for board games. Small intricate gifts made in limited series are perfect
for marketing and public relations departments.
Dental prosthetics
Resin 3D printers are particularly useful in making dental casts faster and more efficient. Compared with traditional
dental modeling techniques, Zortrax Inkspire allows less invasive procedures requiring little to no patient's involvement.
3D printed models of patients' oral cavities are used to form dental casts, prostheses, and bridges.
Jewelry design
Modeling intricate rings, necklaces, and other jewelry requires an immense precision a good resin 3D printer can offer.
3D printed models are used in the lost wax casting process. A master model is immersed in a refractory casting material
to create a mold for final jewelry items made of various metals.
Surgical precision
From art to engineering, Zortrax Inkspire is perfect in all applications where superior precision makes the difference.
With 50x50 microns pixel size and 25 microns minimal layer height, it can 3D print models with no visible layering or
vertical lines. The human eye can't see individual pixels when the image has more than 336 pixels per inch. Pixel
density in models 3D printed on Zortrax Inkspire exceeds this value regardless of the viewing angle.
Z-SUITE for Zortrax Inkspire
Z-SUITE is a dedicated slicing and 3D printing farm management software that comes free with every Zortrax 3D printer.
Now it has a number of additional functionalities to make working with Zortrax Inkspire an effortless experience.
Programmable pause
Z-SUITE calculates how much resin is needed to print each layer of the model and allows to schedule a pause precisely
when a refill is necessary
Smart supports
Times of exposure to UV light for the model and support structures can be set independently
Remote management
Prints can be paused or resumed and progress can be monitored remotely on each Zortrax Inkspire connected to the
same Wi-Fi network
Accessories
Zortrax Ultrasonic Cleaner
for Zortrax Inkspire
Zortrax Ultrasonic Cleaner is a device that uses high frequency sound waves propagated in water to automatically clean models.
Just fill the container with water, put the model in, and turn it on. The cleaning process usually takes up to 20 min.
