The INDX tool changer brings fast, efficient multi-material and multi-colour printing to your CORE One L. With up to eight independent tool heads, each material gets its own dedicated path — perfect for combining rigid and flexible parts, using soluble supports, or switching colours within a single print.
Colour changes take just about 12 seconds and generate minimal waste — roughly 0.013 g per switch. Each head uses a contactless induction coil for heating along with wireless, contactless temperature sensing, ensuring consistent and precise results.
Nozzles reach temperatures of up to 300 °C and are available in sizes 0.25, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, and 0.8 mm. The standard 0.4 mm nozzle offers high flow performance and is made from surface-hardened, nitro-carburized steel for long-lasting durability.
The system works with standard 1.75 mm filament, any brand, no spool chip required. It supports a wide range of materials including PLA, PETG, ASA, ABS, PC, PA, TPU, PVA, and BVOH, as well as other non-abrasive filaments.
The dynamic, self-adjusting extrusion system maintains consistent pressure for reliable extrusion across different materials. An accelerometer built into the head further supports print quality.
Installing the system slightly reduces the build volume — by 2 mm on the X axis and 15 mm on the Y axis. With the upgrade installed, the resulting build volume is 298 x 275 x 330 mm.
