We have developed new software to improve
the workflow of 3D printing on the Bolt. On this
intuitive software, you can select your print from
either USB or the built-in drive, see how much
filament and time is left on a print in progress,
and more.
The software can be accessed via the 7 inch
touchscreen on the Bolt, or via any device with
WiFi and a browser. This means that you can
upload your print to the Bolt’s build-in storage,
transfer files from one machine to another, and
start, pause or stop printing from anywhere.
Dual Head
The Bolt features two separate print heads, each
with its own nozzle and filament spool. Current
dual extrusion printers often result in leakage of
one or the other nozzle, or the in-active nozzle
can scratch or damage you print.
Separating the heads provides dual color/material
prints with virtually no leakage or possible
damaging your print. While one nozzle is active,
the other will sit idle on the side of the print bed.
When one nozzle is finished with its extrusion on
a layer, the other nozzle will purge its nozzle and
cleaning it from debris before continuing on that
same layer. This will result in cleaner and sharper
prints, exactly as it should be.
Separating the nozzle also provides other advantages.
In Replicator mode; using both nozzles at the same time
effectively gives you twoprinters! This means that printing
the same object multiple times can be done twice as fast!
In addition, creating orb shaped object is also a
breeze. Cutting the orb in half and printing both halves in
Mirror mode, gives you the orb shaped object without any support and copying
